Yukon Mines Supervisor Certification Course

This course is designed to certify Mine Supervisors in the Occupational Health and Safety Act in the Yukon. Successful completion of the exam will certify you as a Mines Supervisor. However, you will have to ensure you have a valid and up to date First Aid certificate for your supervisor's ticket to be valid. 

The exam assesses your knowledge in eight areas:
•Mining in Yukon
•Worker Health and Safety
•Worksite Safety
•Parts of the OH&S Act and Regulations
•Using Certified Professionals
•Emergency Preparedness and Response
•Violence and Harassment Prevention
•Environmental Protection

All information required to answer the exam questions may be found in the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations. A searchable copy of the OH&S Act and Reguations is made available to you within the Mines Supervisor Online Certification.
